IU sheds tears during filming for the upcoming KBS 2TV drama ‘You’re the Best Lee Soon Shin‘.

Those fans who have watched “Dream High” have already gotten a little taste of the singer’s acting when she played the role as the sweet Kim Pil Sook. There was a lot of gossip going around about how IU will fare under the pressure as the lead actress in ‘You’re the Best Lee Soon Shin’. However, when they began to film, IU proved that she can hold her own.

A staff member revealed, “IU’s passion for acting is impressive. Her acting ability and focus in scenes were beyond our expectations.We anticipate our viewer rating to surpass 50%,” revealing his bold thoughts on the drama’s potential popularity. It is said that IU will be playing the protagonist, Lee Soon Shin, who heads off to Seoul to pursue her dreams following her father’s death, which might explain those tears.
