IU Received a Song Because of Her Sad Face

Composer Yoon Sang revealed that he gave IU quite the sad song, ‘The Story That Only I Didn’t Know About,‘ because of her melancholy face.

He appeared on the recent episode of ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘ and confessed that he had previously seen IU on a variety show before she became the nation’s little sister thanks to the success of ‘Good Day.’ And this meeting led him to compose the song. He said, “I composed ‘The Story That Only I Didn’t Know About’ after seeing her melancholy face while being unable to mingle with the other guests.”

Yoon Sang has previously composed such songs as BoA‘s ‘The Show Must Go On,’ as well as Gain‘s ‘Irreversible,’ and ‘Truth.’
