IU Receives 100 Million Won Just for Dubbing!

It’s been recently revealed that IU was paid 100 million won for her dubbing work in Sammy’s Adventure 2.

On March 1^st, it was reported on Moneytoday about the problems surrounding stars being cast for dubbing in animations and they used IU as an example. Upon hearing that IU received 100 million for her dubbing voice in Sammy’s Adventure 2, a lot of people were shocked and surprised because even professional dubbers don’t get paid half that much.

Netizens who heard the news commented, “This is too much,” “IU’s popular but the price is too high”, “I don’t believe it” and many more.

Sammy’s Adventure 2 was premiered in August and even reached 1 million viewers, thanks to IU’s popularity. It also sold 1 billion tickets.
