IU renews her contract with Kakao M

Yes, that is right! IU has renewed her exclusive contract with Kakao M.

In particular, on July 18th, Kakao M revealed that IU had chosen to renew her contract with them. Thus, she will continue to move forward as an artist under them. They expressed their happiness by saying “We are extremely happy that we have ended up being able to continue our longstanding partnership with IU. We will continue to fully support her in any way possible so that she can continue to promote as a great artist and actress.”

She had made her debut under Kakao M in 2008 so this means she has stayed with the agency for 10 years! We hope to see more great things from her!
