J-hope has dropped another MV and it’s for ‘Airplane‘!
After releasing his mixtape ‘Hope World‘ on March 2nd, along with a video for his title track ‘Daydream‘, J-hope has now released an MV for ‘Airplane‘ and we are loving it!
This track is quite different to his title track ‘Daydream’ and it gives off a different vibe. This song dives into J-hope reflecting on just how far he has come and how he is able to live his dreams. You can tell that this track means a lot to J-hope and expresses his feelings clearly.
The song starts out slow with amazing instrumental that sends chills down your spine, it then very smoothly opens into the chorus where the track gets livelier and the beat gets faster. The chorus is a killer part of the song which really shows J-hope reflecting on how things tried to hold him back in the past, but he just kept moving forward to achieve his dreams. This track flows to the same tune the whole way through and the only way to tell the chorus from the rest is because the beat gets louder and slightly faster, the vocals also increase in volume creating a very powerful vibe.

This MV opens over a beautifully lit city and showcases the phenomenal instrumental that is in the song. J-hope walks into the video and sits on a singular chair in the middle of a room with a wide window that shows the outside movements including clouds and the city. As the chorus hits, J-hope is in the centre of the room rapping flawlessly. He is really feeling the vibe of the music and gives off a great feel. From here on out we see very powerful movements and rapping which make the song powerful.
You can see by J-hope‘s movements and emotions as the song progresses that he is happy with his achievements.
