Rising pop artist Jake $ing, whos’ style has been compared to that of Post Malone, has released a new EP titled “ups & downs” as well as a Music Video for his track “LET DOWN.”
Shanghai born and 626-raised, Jake $ing has been making a name for himself in the music industry and people all over are being drawn in by his unique sound. Just one year after his music debut, Sony Music swooped in and got him signed. Since then he has been making pop tracks that brought a great response all Asia and got him the title as the “Asian Post Malone.” Some of his inspiration comes from artists such as Keshi, Post Malone, and is a huge fan of Kpop groups Stray Kids, BTS, and MAMAMOO!
Today we got a fresh look at his new EP “ups & downs” and Music Video for “LET DOWN.” This track is is an up beat pop song that tells a rather sad story about not knowing the person you love and being “LET DOWN” countless times. The feel of his music is rather fresh, and though it has a sad perspective of love, it still make you want to dance along to the beat.
His EP consists of tracks called “MAKEUP”, “TIL IT HURTS”, “LET DOWN”, and “TOO MUCH” which each go through the stages of “Puppy Love” that we’ve all experienced oh so well. Be sure to check out his full EP here and tell us what you think?
