In news that will surprise no one that follows K-pop, Jay Park has been signed to Jay Z’s label Roc Nation.
The announcement was made via their respective Twitter and Instagram accounts is huge in terms of the exposure it will bring to Jay Park.
He is the first Asian-American to be signed to the label which was set-up by Jay Z in 2008 and features artists such as Rhianna, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne and J.Cole.
Jay Park called the announcement a win for Asian-Americans and a win for “hard work and dedication” and promised that he was “just gettin’ started”.

Just hours after the announcement Jay Park released the track ‘Most Hated’ with Dok2. He has also dropped the track ‘Yacht’ feat Sik-k in the past week.
