Jay Park may have just released “The Promise“ last week, but already he’s back with his next single “So Good“! He’s been busy lately, releasing “Metronome” and “Tae Kwon Do” all since the first of the year. If he was anyone else, there would be concern that the quality of the releases would be in question but Jay Park is not just any artist.
Unlike “The Promise” which was a soulful and sensual R&B ballad, “So Good” looks to be more in the style of his earlier smash hit “Joah“. The song sounds upbeat and fun, while the video looks fun with a nod to The King of Pop thrown in for good measure.
Did you like it? I am excited, Jay Park has shown a lot of maturity and diversity in all of his work from the start. When he does cheerful, upbeat and adorable songs, they are the kind of songs that go on to your playlist and never leave. We here at Officially KMusic will be eagerly anticipating this release, scheduled for September 1st. This release date will make it the first song of the fall, hopefully it will set the tone for the rest of the season. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
