On October 30th, JBJ95 finally made their long-awaited debut with a new MV for ‘Home‘. They also released their first album with the same name.
This duo is made up of Kenta and Kim Sang Gyun, who were former members of JBJ. The group disbanded earlier this year after completing activities following the end of season 2 of Produce 101. Hence, this duo was formed.
JBJ95’s MV for ‘Home’:
The song and MV definitely have nostalgic vibes to it. The duo is pictured in a cozy-looking house. The house is filled with a vintage television set with magazines, books and plants lying around. In an alternate setting, they are performing their choreography on the street in a small neighbourhood. They seem to be exploring the small town as they walk down the streets and observe their surroundings. In an abstract setting, there are many television sets floating in the sky. The dark and dim setting will make the audience want to go home and get comfortable. Towards the end of the MV, as the sky darkens, the duo emerge to perform their choreography on a roof. They also throw a party for themselves inside their house.
The cozy atmosphere of the house is accompanied by the gentle sound of the song. You can definitely hear the emotion in their voices.
