Jessi Gets Candid about Working With the Legendary JYP in a New Interview

Jessi has just finished collaborating with JYP Entertainment’s CEO, Park Jin Young, on his recent comeback track “Who’s Your Mama?” and gave insight in what it’s like to work with one of the biggest names in the industry.

During the interview, Jessi mentioned a little annoyance with how much of a perfectionist JYP is, and how he played a key role in every aspect of the track even on Jessi’s rap which he changed the lyrics to three times, as well as advising her on her singing. Jessi knew Park Jin Young well before but seeing him at work was another story. She explained how particular he is about rapping, not just singing, which surprised her, and how much effort he puts in his tracks until he feels satisfied with the finishing product. Regardless of minor bumpy roads while producing the track, Jessi revealed that is satisfied with the outcome and feels it came out her way as well. Jessi finished the interview by thanking JYP for the opportunity and hopes to collaborate again in the future.
