Before he leaves to enlist in the South Korean military for two years, everyone’s favourite action-man Ji Chang Wook has a couple of projects planned for fans.
He has been chosen as a dubbing actor for the Korean-release of the animated film ‘Your Name’, along with Kim So Hyun.
The storyline of the film is based around two teenagers who switch bodies despite not knowing each other. Ji Chang Wook will take on the role of Taki – a high school boy living in Tokyo, while Kim So Hyun will voice the role of Mitsuha – a high school girl living in rural Japan.
As a way of saying a final farewell to fans, and to celebrate 10 years since he first debuted, the actor will be holding a concert for his fans.
Glorious Entertainment, Ji Chang Wook’s agency stated, “2017 is a special year for Ji Chang Wook. He debuted in 2008 and has been working nonstop for the past decade to mature and grow and become a representative actor of Korea. He wants to share the record of the past 10 years through more than just the screen.”
The statement continued, “As a man living in the Republic of Korea, he will be enlisting in the military this year. Before that time comes, he wants to repay the love of his fans through this meeting and give them an experience they won’t forget.”
The concert will be held on July 22 at the Seoul Olympic Park.
