Bangtan Boy’s members Jimin and V are both ’95 liners, meaning they were born in 1995, and celebrated their high school graduation recently!
The boys shared a special treat with their fans in honor of this special event and released “‘95 Graduation” onto their SoundCloud account. This is actually “Part 2” of the song, since back in February 2013, just prior to their debut, they released “Graduation Song“.
The first part of the song used the instrumental’s from Snoop Dogg, Bruno Mars and Wiz Khalifa’s “Young, Wild and Free” adding Korean lyrics about school and graduation. The song was written by member J-Hope and was a collaboration with producer Supreme Boi. The original song was performed by Bangtan members J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook.
The “95” version also features the producing efforts of Supreme Boi and uses the instrumentals from Lupe Fiasco’s “Old School Love” which featured Ed Sheeran. V had a hand in the lyrics this time around and both him and Jimin croon out the lyrics to this heartfelt song. The lyrics should truly resonate with most graduating students, for they are feelings we can all relate too, “That this has ended, The reality hasn’t hit” and “After graduation, Even as time passes, Don’t ever forget about us“.
Make sure you check out both part one and part two of the song below!
