JJCC has released their new music video, “Where You At,” featuring their two new members.
The video is about a man (Sancheong) who’s girlfriend is cheating on him with another man (Yul), and he knows. The video features bright colors and flashy lights, similar to their previous release, “Fire.” The track itself is mediocre at best, with vocal ranges clashing left and right. There are some parts where the audio track has a nice beat and meshes well with the vocal, but the other vocal harmonies are too deep and of varying range to pair up suitably with the instrumental.
I do have to say that the music video was very fun and appealing. I loved the unique outfits and high-strung attitudes. Even the dance breaks blended wonderfully with the upbeat instrumental. It was also a fun way to showcase the new members.
The entire release wasn’t a failure, just a bit off-kilter. I don’t want to say I expected more, but I did. Check it out for yourself below and let’s see what you think! And stay tuned with Officially Kmusic for all your most recent Korean media updates.
