It was confirmed that actor Jo Hyeon Jae has joined the cast of MBC’s upcoming drama, “The Daughter of the Emperor.”
He will be taking the role of an upcoming prince Myeong Nong, the son of King Moo Ryeo (played by Lee Jae Ryong). He will be involved in a love line with Soo Baek Hyang (Seo Hyeon-jin), Seol Hee (Seo Woo) and Jin Moo (Jeon Tae-soo).
The drama was written by Hwang Jin Yeong, who worked on such a masterpiece as, ‘A Frozen Flower,‘ and produced by Lee Sang Yeob I whom fans may know for ‘Lights and Shadows.‘
Jo Hyeon Jae had made his name popular with his roles in dramas such as, ’49 Days,’ Nine Tailed Fox,’ ‘One Mom and Three Dads’ and more. This will be his first MBC drama in 10 years.
‘The Daughter of the Emperor” will start its broadcast on September 30th.
