Joon-il Jung finally released the music video to ‘Plastic’ which features rapper BewhY. ‘Plastic’ is part of his new four track album ‘Underwater’.
‘Plastic’ is a track about reflecting about the way one lives their life, but also how one shows their love. Rapper BewhY’s emotional use of his voice, at times very pained, synchronised perfectly with the theme of the video. Furthermore, his short, yet fast-tempoed rap gives the track more depth and becomes in sync with the melody and Joon-il’s vocals. Also the sudden change in tempo at the bridge was full of more emotion and was sure to hit the audience’s feelings hard.
The music video also starred model Phoenix O’Shea and photographer Valentina Cytrynowicz as the main characters. They were two outstanding actors since they were able to portray the depressing feeling that came across through the lyrics.
Overall, this track was incredible and beautiful, and the lyrics are easily relatable to the audience. ‘Plastic’ is simply full of touching melody and can be easily seen as a great track.
