Jung Joon Young Reveals he was the Originally Supposed to be the Lead Role for “Genie” Japanese PV

Jung Joon Young revealed that he was originally supposed to have the lead role in Girls’ Generation‘s Japanese music video for “Genie.”

He was one of the guests for a recent recording of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3,’ and he made the panel laugh by saying, “I agreed happily to a recruiter saying I’d be the lead of Girls’ Generation’s MV, and I went to the filming set. But when I got there, EXO‘s Chanyeol was the lead. I was fooled and I had to film, but I got the money for it anyway, so there wasn’t a problem.”

Jung Joon Young will be with Kim Hyun Joong, Muzie, Choi Won Young, and Cho Dal Hwan on the August 15th episode of ‘Happy Together 3.’
