On December 5th, Jung Key released his MV for ‘Stay With Me‘ featuring Sungjae from BTOB. Check it out below!
‘Stay With Me’ MV:
The MV tells a story of long-lost lovers. The man opens up his coffee shop which is located on the beach next to the ocean. The woman is seen standing at the shore looking out into the horizon. He walks around and inspects his coffee shop before coming across his old camera. In a flashback, we see the same woman and man, but they are a couple. They seem to have a loving relationship as they drink coffee together and laugh. Thinking about these memories makes the man miss the good old days with his ex-lover. Throughout the MV, they seem to be chasing each other as they look back even when they are alone.
Sungjae is known for his heavenly vocals, which he portrays nicely in this song. His melodic voice conveys the sad emotions that we feel when watching this couple struggle with letting each other go.
The song is produced by Jung Key but sang by Sungjae from BTOB. It is the second track of his second album ‘Retro‘, which was also released on December 5th. The album features a variety of collaboration with other artists like Wheein from Mamamoo, Yuju from Gfriend, Minseo, Park Boram and more.
