Ever since Juniel debuted, she has been referred as “the second IU” due to their similarities like their image and their styles.
On KBS 2FM’s ‘Hong Jin Kyung’s 2FM’, Juniel was asked how it she felt burdened by being compared to IU. Juniel answered, “IU and I are the same age, so we’re friendly with one another. When we see each other, we say, ‘Hey~.’ But after we decided to talk to each other in a more casual way, things got a little awkward between us,” which caused the DJ to laugh.
Because of their voices, acoustic guitars and innocent looks, Juniel and IU are often being compared. Despite the comparisons, fans still love Juniel just the way she is.
They almost look like twins to me!
