On the 6th, JYJ held a press conference for their concert, “The Return of JYJ” in the Tokyo Dome of Japan.
That day, they spoke of the frustration of not being able to perform in Japan because of the issues that arose with the management company.
“Japan is like our second home,” they said. “We even released more singles in Japan than in Korea. It was frustrating that we couldn’t have any type of activity.”
“When we went on the Tokyo Dome 3 years ago, that was a symbol of a great start. It was a stage to represent a new start for JYJ, but we didn’t know that that stage would be our last in Japan,” Junsu said. “We’ve been working hard in Korea, but our activity in Korea is only half of what we did in Japan.”
Junsu continued by adding, “We came to be thankful for the little things. We considered it a given to be able to go out to TV programs, but we’re now thankful if one of our songs is played on a radio station. I realized that it’s not easily achieved. We now get to step onto Tokyo Dome once again. We’ll try our best, as this is really a new start for us.”
“We also said it was crazy. For the past 3 years, with uncertainty covering our eyes, our fans and family trusted and supported us,” Jaejoong said. “I’m so thankful for such a big support. We really want to show only the best to our fans.”
