JYJ has claimed victory as the legal battle betwen the group and Japanese management, Avex, has finally come to an end.
C-JeS Entertainment revealed: ‘During the trial in Japan on the 18th, it was ruled that Avex cannot interfere with the Japanese promotional activities of JYJ.’
The agency’s representatives also added that they will send out a press release once the exact decision documents arrive.
The long battle was started back in 2011 when the initial lawsuit was filed against Avex by the three members of JYJ, requesting for the end of the company’s interference with the group’s attempt to put on a charity concert for the Tohoku earthquake.
It seems the legal battle is now over and JYJ can work towards moving forward free of the legal issues that had been holding them back.
