Kim Jae Joong′s first solo album “I” took over an Asian music chart in Germany.
On March 4th, a representative from C-JeS Entertainment stated, “Mine, the promotional single from Kim Jae Joong′s first solo album released on January 17, landed on the top spot of a German Asian music chart for February 2013.”
This isn’t the first time his album topped a chart outside of Korea. One Kiss, the preview track released in January for his album, was found on the no. 1 spot of the iTunes Rock Chart in Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The album went on to rise to no. 2 on the Billboard World Album Chart, and topped album site charts in Taiwan and Japan.
His album also stayed at the top of Yin Yue Tai′s V chart for K-Pop for four weeks in a row, becoming the only solo male artist to manage such a record.
The singer recently released a repackaged version of his album, “Y”. On March 5th, he will be appearing at a Unicef event together with other JYJ members to deliver donations.
