I was always a big fan of everything vampire related! I never found it scary and I loved seeing and learning about different mythologies and stories.
Over past 5-10 years we were bombarded with them through books, movies and TV-series. Now, the time has come for Korean dramas.
After “Blood”, an amazing k-drama with Ahn Jaehyun and Gu Hyesun, we now have an equally amazing second drama to look out for.
“Orange Marmalade” is actually a drama based on the same-title, very popular manga about a vampire high-school girl Baek Mari who struggled to survive in the world of humans. She always felt like an outcast, going to school just because she has to, trying not to get in contact with others and all of the known vampire struggles. Baek Mari is playing AOA‘s Seolhyun, wich is actually her first lead-role ever.
But like in life, something interesting has to happen, and her life becomes a real roller coaster when she meets Jung Jaemin, a popular handsome boy, a role model and class president. But everything is not what it seems, and what is that you ask? You can find out watching this drama! Jung Jaemin is played by Yeo Jingoo, one of the best child actors to date, who became really handsome young man and I can say he is a jackpot for this drama.
This, actually is not the end of amazing cast! Lee Jonghyun (CNBLUE) plays a cold vampire who is Baek Mari’s childhood friend and has a secret crush on her, with that making a hot love triangle between the three leads.
This drama is amazing and I highly recommend it! You will enter into completely new world and make you forget about every-day life problems like school, bills, kids, etc.
