Barely a year after concluding his debut solo tour, Bang Yongguk graced the stage once again to lead his second solo US tour titled III. Chicago represented the third on this eleven city tour that spanned the entire U.S.
Before Yongguk stepped onto the stage, there was a seamless flow featuring a DJ as the opening act, making his own entrance feel like a natural progression. As soon as he appeared, the crowd exploded in cheers, just from his mere appearance. He kicked things off with “OFF” before smoothly transitioning into “Xie Xie,” showcasing not only his musical prowess but also his commanding stage presence. Only two songs in, and the room had already erupted in smiles that had everyone grinning ear to ear.
Even without choreography, Yongguk’s stage presence and vocal abilities held the audience captive throughout the night. Fans eagerly sang along as he revisited old songs such as “I Remember,” showing their support with lightsticks representing his journey from B.A.P to his previous 2023 tour. The momentum continued with electrifying performances of “MOVIMIENTO” and “BUSS IT DOWN” from his latest EP, 3, released just prior to the tour’s launch. With anticipation that overwhelmed the room, heat radiated from the excitement that gave way to a teasing ab reveal.
The atmosphere peaked during the pre-encore performances of “BAD” and “Green,” however, as fans could only beam with enthusiastic cheers and applause, eagerly demanding an encore. As the evening neared its end, the excitement lingered with captivating performances of “Ya (야해),” “Rain On Me,” and the climactic finale, “See you later.” The energy of the night highlighted Bang Yongguk’s impressive accomplishments as a solo artist, and proved his solid fanbase is undeniable.
