As part of their third world tour, <0 or 1>, CIX made their sixth stop in Chicago mid-May — originally planned as the first stop, this specific tour stop was rescheduled due to conflicts. The five-membered group’s arrival was highly anticipated, creating an electrifying atmosphere. They opened their set with the catchy “Move My Body,” which shifted to the more subdued “Change Me,” and then re-energized the crowd again with the hypnotic “Bad Dream.” The audience’s enthusiastic applause marked the start of an exciting night, as CIX continued with dance-centric hits like “Save Me, Kill Me” and “What You Wanted.”
The members briefly exited the stage, reemerging individually for their solo performances. Hyunsuk’s cover of LANY’s “ILYSB” featured a soft spotlight that gave his vocals a dreamy quality, while BX delivered an energetic rendition of Marleen’s “Left to Right.” Yonghee charmed the audience with Troye Sivan’s “Angel Baby,” while Bae Jinyoung offered a refreshing version of JUNGKOOK’s viral “Seven,” featuring a rap by BX. Seunghun concluded the solo stages with a powerful performance of “Youngblood” by 5 Seconds of Summer.
Reuniting once more, CIX delivered a mix of vocally powerful tracks like “Lost” and softer melodies such as “Imagine” and “Wave,” creating a carefree summer vibe that contrasted with the earlier, more intense atmosphere. After a brief outfit change, they performed their debut track “Movie Star,” before continuing with the lively “458,” featuring dynamic choreography and vocal tracks that fans enthusiastically sang along to. The energy gradually softened with the semi-final songs “Here for You” and “Drown in Love,” leaving fans teary-eyed and nostalgic.
An encore performance of “Cinema” left fans with a final glimpse of choreography, while “The One” and “Color” signaled the end of the night’s festivities. The lingering memories of the performance made it difficult to accept its conclusion, as the final bow marked the transition from an enchanting reality to cherished memory.
Special thanks to CIX and team for allowing Officially Kmusic to attend. Make sure to check out all our photos from the show on our Facebook page now!
