We here at KMusic are more than enthused to present to you a shout out from the rookie girl group Bebop!
Bebop is an up and coming band that debuted under the HMI Entertainmentent label, and consists of drummer Ah-Yeon, bassist Ji-In, and guitarist Ju-Woo.
They first appeared on the scene as part of a project group with Humming Urban Stereo in August of 2013. Together they released the single “MAEM MAEM” which the group promoted through performances at subways, roadsides and clubs.
Also prior to their offical debut the girls had the honor of participating in the ost for the drama Pretty Boy with the song ‘Pretty Boy‘ which was the theme song for the drama
Finally making their official debut this past February with “I’m The Best” the title track off their “Between Calm And Passion” album. The album featured a mix of “punk rock style strong and straight sound to acoustic modern rock” within the 5 tracks on the album and demonstrated the various sides of Bebop.
Since their debut the girls have also released an acoustic cover of Busker Busker‘s “Cherry Blossom Ending,” a soft ballad that is very different from their original rock style.
