Finishing up their U.S. tour, MAMAMOO performed to a sold out Kia Forum on Sunday, June 4th. With this being their first full stateside tour almost ten years after debut, the girl group pulled out all the stops, preparing songs from debut until now, solo performances, and more, and leaving fans, MOOMOO, with memories to last a lifetime.
Starting the show with their 2022 release “1,2,3 Eoi!,” the crowd passionately sang along from the very first song. Making a quick time jump, the next song up was “Mr-Ambiguous,” their 2014 debut song. Longtime fans were excited to hear the track in 2023, singing along cheerfully and loudly to the timeless track. The group continued on the show performing songs old and new, with songs such as “Taller than you” and “ILLELLA” all on the setlist.
Needless to say with the group’s veteran status, each of the members also have successful solo careers as well. Much to MOOMOOs’s delight, the group also prepared a collection of solo performances for the show, but with a little twist. Kicking off this segment was WHEEIN’s “water color,” but performed by SOLAR. This led into a performance of MOONBYUL’s “Eclipse” by HWASA, SOLAR’s “Honey” by WHEEIN, and HWASA’s “TWIT” by MOONBYUL. These part change stages proved the group’s versatility, as each member was able to cover the other with ease. After the part switch stages, the group also performed a medley of their solo songs as a four member group, with SOLAR’s “Spit it out,” WHEEIN’s “Make Me Happy,” MOONBYUL’s “LUNATIC,” and HWASA’s “Maria.”
The night continued on with equally energetic performances of songs such as “Egotistic,” “gogobebe,” “Starry Night,” and “Yes I Am,” before the evening ended with the encore and performance of “Um Oh Ah Yeh.” Aside from top tier stages showing off strong vocals, rap, and dance from the four well-rounded idols, the group also showed off their strong fanservice skills. Despite the large venue, the group made sure to really make their MOOMOOs feel special, shouting and barking along with the crowd, asking them to do a wave with their Moo Bongs (lightsticks), continuously expressing their gratitude with words of thanks and actions such as trying their best to speak English, and more.

Overall, the MY CON tour was the perfect first tour for the veteran girl group and their fans. With an evening full of amazing performances and amazing fan service, the concert was enough to keep MOOMOOs happy and satisfied until the next time they can see their favorite group again. Special thanks to MAMAMOO and team for allowing us to attend!
