Korean music artist Sam took time out of his busy schedule and sat down with K-Radio’s very own Moelicious for a very special interview. The talented singer and song writer from Chicago (Illinois, U.S) started his own music company CHITWN Music in Seoul as a way to get his music, the way he wanted out to the musical universe.
During the interview he talks about his musical influence. Firstly naming his mom who at a young age gave Sam a violin and the rest is music magic. He is sentimental about his music as it represents a musical timeline of his life.
He also talks about his dream collaborations and love of Korean hip hop. He then talked about path to musical greatness. Including how he got his start in Korean music. Sam gained great exposure during his time on ‘The Voice Korea.‘
While I am sure that almost every idol loves music it is a completely different feeling you get when you listen to someone like Sam. Especially when he discusses his passion for music it is that passion that is evident in every song he releases.
Sam’s previous solo and music video release ‘Wake Up’ featuring K.Shin is an easy KMusic and K-Radio favorite. I can say it is one of my favorite songs of the year, and Sam talks about how that song came to fruition. We also get a peek as to his future activities
Fans have been eagerly anticipating his return, well the wait is now over as his latest song “Wish I Never Had‘ has just been released. It is the everything that a music fan could want. I think that once you hear about his musical influences you can hear them in the song.
You can check it out below.
After listening to the interview a few things have become abundantly clear to me. Sam is not only talented and gifted singer song writer. But he is also hardworking and passionate about his craft. Not only that but he is also very humble guy and I am sure we will continue to hear about him in the future.
