K-Pop Girl Groups Have a New Representative for Japan ‘A-Nation’ Concert

Girl group AOA has been confirmed to perform at this year’s ‘2014 A-Nation-Asia Progress, Departure’ that will be held in Japan on August 17. That means that AOA were chosen to be the representative of K-Pop girl groups and will be performing on the same stage as popular Japanese artists.

‘A-Nation’ is a concert organized by AVEX since 2002. Every year it has the best Japanese and Korean artists perform before around 700,000 fans and is one of the biggest music festivals in Japan.

What is worth noticing, is the fact that AOA has not debuted in Japan as of yet, which proves their international popularity.
