K-POP Stars With Special Hobbies

K-pop stars aside of being onstage also spare some of their free time doing their hobbies. Some of them like to read, sleep or collect postcards. Others like to do something bigger. KMUSIC will reveal some of the most special hobbies right now.

4minute‘s HyunA stated that her hobbies are cooking, cleaning, dancing and…customizing clothing. Maybe some of their designs can be seen at her new music video ‘Ice Cream’?

Super Junior‘s leader, Leeteuk, has a special hobby of collecting female celebrities’ numbers. It was revealed that whenever a female guest appeared at his radio show, he would exchange numbers with them. However, he never actually contacted them.

But it looks like Super Junior is a mine of special hobbies. The group’s maknae, Kyuhyun, is well-known for being a devoted StarCraft’s fan. Fans call him GameKyu and he admitted that this is his favourite nickname.

Super Junior’s dancer, Eunhyuk, collects cars. He even gave a good reason for his hobby. He said: ‘It’s fun!’.

TVXQ‘s Changmin doesn’t have a hobby of collecting but he does have a tendency to overload his bag with everything he might need all the time, so his bag is always very heavy. The contents of his bag was once revealed during one of the episodes of ‘Strong Heart’. Changmin first pulled out a cloth bag, a book, and then pulled out… garlic extract! He also pulled out bandages and a spool of thread and a needle.

Alex from Clazziquai has shown his cooking skills through dramas and variety shows and his talent in the kitchen has been recognized. He was even a host in the cooking TV show and shared his secrets to the viewers. He also published his cookbook containing his secret recipes.

U-KISS‘ Dongho has revealed he has a rather exotic hobby considering his age, occupation and gender. His hobby is none other than… knitting! He explained it by saying: ‘I became dizzy as I did some reading and played games when the car is on the moves. There’s nothing to help the dizziness go away so that how the idea of knitting came.’

Dal Shabet‘s Ahyoung confessed she’s obsessed about… Roman and Greek mythology and that studying it became her hobby. We wonder, who would she rather choose: Hercules or Achilles?

Block B‘s members also have very individualistic hobbies. B-Bomb admitted he likes collecting fashion photoshoots, Jaehyo is interested in business affairs and Taeil likes… raising tropical fishes. He revealed: ‘I’m the type that completely immerses myself into something I fall in love with. I’ve always loved raising tropical fishes since I was little so I joined a club for it. My aunt gave me two fishes to raise myself, which later turned into 7~800. A trick to raising fishes well is to try not to touch them as much as possible. You have to just leave them alone.’
