K.Will Reveals that he was Close to being Obese when he was a Child

K.Will shares his struggles during his childhood.

Recently, the singer guested on SBS‘ ‘Star Couple Show‘ and revealed, “My mother told me that when I was a baby, I didn’t sleep at night and kept crying. She hoped that I might fall asleep in a quiet and silent place, so she once put me into the wardrobe.”

He then continued, “I am an only child, and I was on the chubby side during elementary school. My parents worried that I might become obese. Only children usually get treated with special care, but my mother was definitely not like that. My parents were a weekend couple, so I was only able to eat side dishes with meat when my father came home. I normally ate only vegetables.”

The singer brought laughter in the studio as he said “On the days my father would come, I tried to grab the meat, so my mother blocked me with her chopsticks. I once cried and went to my room because of it. I talk to my mother about it sometimes and said, ‘If I ate a lot, I would’ve grown taller.’ My mom replied, ‘You were also my first child, so how would I have known? If I had another child, I would’ve raised it well, but we failed with you’.”

Meanwhile, K.Will is currently promoting his latest song, ‘Love Blossom‘.
