I have a confession

.
.
I’m…a YG stan.
Lol I’m just kidding. That’s common knowledge. And it was no surprise how excited I was when BIGBANG returned from their three year hiatus, only to slap me in the face with FIVE comebacks.
Oh sweet lord, my heart.
The first comeback was the single “M,” which contained the singles, “BAE BAE” and “Loser.” At first, I loved the crazy wild concept of “BAE BAE,” and “Loser” just felt ho hum. Now it seems to be the other way around with “Loser” winning my heart and “BAE BAE” in the background.
Next came the “A,” in which I was steamrolled with “Bang Bang Bang,” and slowly let down (more figuratively than anything) with “We Like 2 Party.”
“Bang Bang Bang” is STILL on repeat. I found “We Like 2 Party” a bit lackluster though. I mean, the music video was cute, but I didn’t find anything to make me love the song.
Don’t tell me that you didn’t giggle when we finally got the “D” single. You know you did. I know you did. Don’t deny it. “D” is the latest single in BIGBANG’s epic comeback. It holds the singles, “If You,” which, according to Papa YG is BIGBANG’s saddest song to date, and “Sober,” which is my favorite song from the single.
“If You” doesn’t have a music video, because, like Akdong Musician‘s “Falling Leaves,” Papa YG felt it better for you to feel the message of the song rather than visually interpreting it.
However, I’m glad that we got a music video for “Sober.” And if you haven’t seen the BTS video for that, you should, because it’s hilarious.
And that’s it…for now. Until “E,” for end. No, not really, then they release the album, “MADE,” which will have entirely different songs than all the singles they’ve released this year.
What’s your favorite BIGBANG song from this year? Let us know!
