The R&B singer has released a special acoustic version of her most recent track ‘Let It Rain‘!
This acoustic version gives the singer’s latest track a more intimate feeling, with Kassy being the sole focal point of the frame.
Check it out below!
Kassy‘s acoustic version of ‘Let It Rain‘ is cut short after the first chorus, leaving listeners wanting more.
Pairing the singer’s soulful voice with just the strumming of an acoustic guitar allows the honest, raw emotion of the song to become clear. The sounds of traffic and honking horns can be heard in the background, adding to the authenticity of the acoustic recording.
Earlier this week Kassy also released a special lyric video for ‘Let It Rain‘ on 1theK‘s YouTube channel, which you can also check out below!
This special clip starts off with Kassy singing her newest track a cappella against the nighttime skyline of Seoul. It becomes a lyric video as the song starts again, this time with the instrumental accompaniment. The quiet nighttime scenery gives a different feeling to the track, creating a peaceful atmosphere despite the darkness.
Kassy debuted in August 2015 with her single ‘In My Bed‘. She also appeared on Unpretty Rapstar 3, but was eliminated in the third episode. Despite only being 21 years of age Kassy has already released a wide variety of tracks, ranging from covers to featuring on SM Station track ‘My Hero‘ alongside Super Junior‘s leader Leeteuk and EXO‘s leader Suho.
