Looks like Japan has caught the KCON fever because this year, KCON 2015 will be heading to Japan in April!
On the 16th, CJ E&M announced that KCON, the hottest and biggest Korean culture convention of the moment, will take place at the Saitama Super Arena on April 22nd, labeled as KCON 2015 Japan.
The first KCON took place in L.A. in the summer of 2012 and has been held every year since, being called an “annual pilgrimage” for K-Pop fans all over the country and world.
Holding a KCON in Japan is a plan to create more opportunities for fans to enjoy the culture of Korea with programs similar to the ones at the KCON in L.A. such as dance competitions, beauty sessions, and language lessons.
M.I.B‘s Kangnam has been named the official ambassador for KCON 2015 Japan.
Any of you fans out there planning to make the trip to Japan for their version of KCON? Let us know in the comments section!
