For the first time ever, KCON is heading to Australia!
Yonhap News Agency dropped a serious hint about KCON 2017 Australia in their March article, and we’ve been waiting eagerly for more info ever since! It could still be a little while before the festival makes the official announcement, so read on to find out what we know so far!
What is KCON?
KCON is a global celebration of Hallyu culture, encompassing pop music, fashion, beauty, TV dramas, food and more, usually held over a few days in each city it visits.
The VIP benefits we’ve seen for past dates have been incredible, not to mention the stellar artist line-ups (New York will be hosting TWICE, CNBLUE, GFriend, Highlight, KNK, UP10TION, SF9, Zion-T, and NCT-127)! We’re hoping that KCON 2017 in Australia is no exception!
What do we know so far?
The confirmed upcoming tour dates for KCON 2017 so far are Japan from May 19-21, Newark and New Jersey from June 23-24, Los Angeles from August 18-20, and then Australia sometime in September.
For now, we suggest you head over to the K-Australia Facebook page and join our KCON 2017 Australia Event to receive instant updates and information about KCON 2017 Australia!
