The largest and most loved celebration of K-culture KCON 2017 USA presented by Toyota has just broken a record for New York Metro Area Event with 43K attendees, nine performers and more than one hundred sponsors and partners. A new record was also set on their KCON.TV platform with 27K livestreams at its peak.
The New York leg of KCON that took place at the Prudential Center on June 23-24 surely had a lot to offer. From workshops, panels and performances to booth of 100 sponsors and partners. The list of sponsors and partners was very long with famous companies and brands such as Amazon, Innisfree, iHeartRadio, DramaFever, Bibigo, Asiana Airlines or State Farm. The fans were able to enjoy the performances of talented groups of CNBlue, GFriend, Highlight, KNK, NCT 127, SF9, Twice, UP10TION and Zion.T. This line-up itself marked a record of nine acts for the New York KCON stop. The program was also filled with panels and workshops with special guests which included Kevin Woo, Chef Edward Lee or a famous Seoul-based dance crew 1 Million Dance Studio.
