Kim Hyun Joong Earns $90,000 by Working Before Pre-debut

On August 15th, KBS’s variety talk show program, “Happy Together,” had Kim Hyun Joong as a special guest.

While they were adoring Kim Hyun Joong’s childhood photo, the host of the show brought up a former subject and questioned, “We heard that when you were a student, you made 100,000,000 Won (approximately 90,000 USD). Is this true?”

Kim Hyun Joong replied, “That is the total of what I made since I was a boy. At times, I didn’t even go to school. I worked full time.”  He added, “I worked at a family restaurant franchise. I used to work all day and close it myself. I also used to have the job of killing the cockroaches once a month.” 

During the show, other guests were also on the show such as Jung Joon Young, Choi Won Young, and Jo Dal Hwan.
