Kim Hyun Joong‘s wax figurine was recently unveiled by Madame Tussauds on the 21st in Busan.
His wax clone was based on how he looked at his concert in May 2012. He visited a total of eight cities in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and Thailand, and for approximately 40,000 fans.
The wax mannequin had about 500 different body measurements of Kim Hyun Joong which were made in August 2012. Taking about four months and also continuous help and recommendations from Kim Hyun Joong’s agency. The costume and accessories were donated by Kim Hyun Joong himself. And it was later publicized that the wax figure cost almost 200,000,000 won (approx. 200,000 USD)
“There are 13 Madame Tussauds in the world, and the increase in the number of Korean wax figures represent the increased interest in Korean stars by the rest of the world. Kim Hyun Joong was a perfect candidate. He has recently completed his Asian Tour successfully, and have ranked number one in the Oricon Chart with his album as well,” Madame Tussauds’ marketing manger announced in Busan.
The wax figures of Kim Hyun Joong and also other celebs will be displayed in Busan until March 2013.
