After serving his duties for the army for two years, Kim Joon will be released from the military on June 28th.
Chang Company, his agency, revealed his plans for the future, saying, “We recently signed a partnership with Kim Joon, who rose to hallyu star status with “Boys Over Flowers.” After his release, Kim Joon will be active as a Chang Company artist.”
They continued, “Kim Joon boasts manly and exotic features, along with an image that seems capable of expressing both good and evil, as well as a good voice. He has strengths that help him be a good actor, and he plans to continue concentrating on acting. Offers are already pouring in not only from Korea, but also other countries such as Japan and China, so we don′t plan on holding back in our support for his career. We expect he will show a different side of himself.”
Kim Joon began his mandatory military service as a conscripted policeman in 2011, and was promoted as a member of the Seoul Police Agency′s Whistle Team alongside actors Lee Je Hoon and Kim Dong Wook.
