Kiseop and Hoon Cast in “Goong”

Members of the male idol group U-KISS, Kiseop and Hoon, have recently been cast as the two lead roles in the musical, “Goong.”

Their first performance in the musical will be this coming July in Osaka, Japan. In the past, other idol group members such as DBSK‘s Yunho and SS501‘s Kim Kyu Jong have taken roles for the same musical.

Other cast members for the current production of “Goong” are Supernova‘s Sungmo and FTISLAND‘s Choi Min Hwan.

This is Kiseop’s first musical performance, and he naturally is somewhat nervous.

“Since it’s my first musical, I’m very nervous. I have a lot of lines so there’s a lot to memorize and learn but I will try my best to show a good performance.”

Hoon commented that, “This is my second time performing in a musical. I will try my best to satisfy the audience who have come to see us.”
