Kmusic Attends Big Bang’s “Alive Tour” In Manila Philippines

Lights off. Light-sticks on. As the show was about to start, Pinoy VIPs were screaming their hearts out. 3…2…1… *Curtains dropped* 5 dazzling men singing “Intro (Alive)” inside a huge glass tube. The crowd was in uproar, waving their VIP light-sticks as the members of Big Bang stepped out from the chamber.

After finishing their entrance, they sang their hit song, “Tonight” making the crowd sing with them. Big Bang made everyone put their hands up with their next song, “Hands Up.”

The next song was fantastic; literally! The crowd was fan chanting as they heard the famous song, “Fantastic Baby” begin from their favorite idols.

After exiting from the stage, Taeyang returned riding a pedaled-big bike and GD and TOP were riding an electric two-wheeled scooter while Seungri and Daesung were just on their feet wandering around the stage singing. It was followed by the “How Gee” performance that showed their energetic side. The boys sang their hearts out as they performed “Stupid Liar” that made everyone jump on their feet.

GD and TOP left the stage for their next performance while Daesung, Taeyang and Seungri had a talk with everyone in the crowd. Seungri shouted “I love this place!” and the crowd screamed at the top of their lungs. Seungri blurted “Manila, baby!” and soon after hearing that, Taeyang sang “Manila, baby~” See fancam below:

Seungri continued his talk as he said, “Manila is so hot!” and “I’m freakin’ excited!” Then Taeyang replied “I’m freakin’ excited too!” Taeyang added, “Manila, we’ve waited for a long time. So we’re really excited too. I hope you enjoy the show” Daesung stated, “I prepared something special” teasing the fans with his words. The trio treated the Pinoy VIPs to a dance tutorial of “Fantastic baby”(chorus part) and the Filipino VIPs followed what the threesome said.

GD and TOP returned back on stage with their “Knock Out” performance after the three exited.

The duo turned the arena into a club as T.O.P showed off his beat boxing skills while G-Dragon was hosting it.

GD: When I say Swag, you say check. Swag! Fans: Check!

They made everyone jumped off their sits as they performed their hit single “High High.”

It was now time for Seungri’s solo performance. Seungri stood on a rising platform while holding a laser gun as he sings his solo single, “Strong Baby”. The army-like performance of the singer impressed everyone, especially those who are Seungri-biased.

The members then came back on stage along with Seungri and sang “Gara Gara Go” making everyone vivacious.

The next song is “Café”, which is from their 4th mini-album. Each of them had a mic-stand, which puts off a classic feel to the ballad song.

The boys showed their skills when it comes to beat boxing. While G-Dragon is singing

“Mori okke mureup bal, Swag check swag check” and “Yes sir, I’m one of a kind”, the boys were making the background sounds for it. (I never knew these boys could beat box!

Big Bang apologized for being a “Bad Boy” with their next song. Taeyang who is known for his dancing skills, jived along to the music.

It was then followed by “Blue”. Soap foam was dropped, putting an astonishing effect to their performance. The fans were singing along all through the song which made it a hair-rising stage.

The boys said they hate that “Love Song” with their next stage. As usual, the fans sang their hearts out with their idols by chanting the line “I hate this love song, I hate this love song~”

The members declared that they’re not a “Monster” as they sing their single for “YG X Hyundai Card”. Taeyang was carried in the air as he sang his line and the members lifted up their voices as the song played.

Next is their performance of “Feeling”, the boys never failed to raise the spirits of the fans while performing the song.

Taeyang then had a solo stage after the song “Feeling”. He sang a “Look Only At Me+Wedding Dress” medley. Near the end of the song, Taeyang ripped his shirt off, showing his well-proportioned body and he did a stupefying back flip after that.

Daesung also had his solo performance as he sang “Wings” on a rising platform and everyone went “Yeah~ Yeah~!”, causing Daesung to shout”I love Philippine!” at the end of his performance.

Big Bang showcased their reflective side as they sang their famous song “Haru Haru” in their white outfits. The members went around the stage while performing in order to have more contact with their fans. They made everyone sing the chorus part of the song and yes, everyone was chanting “Haru haru mudyeojyeo ga eh eh eh eh~” and ended the song.

After, they went in the middle and had talk with the fans. Taeyang said “You guys are awesome” then continued, “It’s time to say goodbye”, causing everyone to yell “Nooo!” He added “But we really hope to guys soon!” which made the fans feel energized again. “Manila, you’re such a beautiful voice” “We promise you that we will come back again” he continued. “Because I love this place!” Seungri added and then Taeyang suddenly shouted “I love this country, Manila baby~!” G-Dragon then made a promise that they would definitely come back to Manila and thanked the fans. T.O.P spoke in Korean but at the end, he stated (in English) “We hope to comeback very soon”, causing the fans to scream louder. Daesung said “You are very special to me” and G-Dragon concluded, “It was such a nice day!” that made everyone roar in their seats. They continued the last stretch of the concert as they performed “Lies” and “Last Farewell” and after it, they exited the stage.

The lights were still off and the Pinoy VIPs were repeatedly chanting, “We want more!” as they waved their light-sticks. A familiar voice on the microphone asked, “Do you guys want more?” The fans yelled “Yeah!” and he started to sing a line from their song, “Heaven”. They went back on stage and performed that song. During the performance, an undergarment was thrown to TOP, who was enjoying the crowd causing him to let out a confused reaction as he saw it.

Then, they introduced all of the back-up dancers and the Big Bang team, which is in-charge of the music. They finished the stage with a bow along with the team after the performance. Taeyang and T.O.P said “Mahal ko kayo!” and all of the members were saying their farewells and when they were about to exit, Seungri was opening the big sliding door but he couldn’t. Instead, they had their encore stage and sung “Bad Boy”, “Fantastic Baby” and “Feeling.” Seungri was holding a panda doll when performing. Daesung and T.O.P were splashing water towards the fans and to each other. Taeyang went to the corners and jived with the music while G-Dragon threw the jacket that he was wearing towards the crowd. After the encore stage, they went in the middle. G-Dragon shouted “Magandang gabi (good evening)” and “Mahal ko kayo!(I love you)” before exiting the stage.

The concert officially ended after Taeyang called T.O.P to the middle of the stage where he danced hysterically.

Everyone who was in the venue had a really great and unforgettable night with the Big bang members. October 24, 2012 was indeed a memorable night, especially for Pinoy VIPs who waited a long time to see Big Bang.
