“Confession” is one of the most popular songs released by Yim Jae Bum. Called one of the most difficult songs to sing at karaoke, “Confession” has been covered by many Korean artists, who wanted to prove their own great vocal abilities.
The song, first released in 1998, became a theme song for the drama “Lovers” (performed by Chi Yeol). This sorrowful yet beautiful song is a confession by a man who loves a woman whom he should not have feelings for. The song is the conversation of this man with God, during which he apologizes for being selfish and not wanting to give up on the woman.
You can listen to the original version below.
As I mentioned earlier, the song was covered by many K-Pop artists, including CNBLUE‘s Yonghwa, ZE:A‘s Kwanghee, Infinite’s Sunkgyu, BTOB‘s Changsub, Jung Joon Young, Kim Tae Woo and FTISLAND‘s Hongki. Check out some of the covers below.
