Girl Group ODD EYE released their music video for “Follow Me” recently.
Watch it here:
I honestly don’t know if that’s just a funky violin or an instrument that I am in no way familiar with, but rock on, honey! I love how they play instruments. All K-Pop idol singers are talented, but I don’t really hear a lot about them playing instruments (with the exception of Henry and bands like FTISLAND and CNBLUE).
The video itself is very colorful, while the girls are black and white. The backgrounds are brightly colored and pulsating, drawing my eye towards the middle, where the girls are located. This is a great tactic, great job editors.
The song is light and funky. It kinda reminds me of those old RPG’s with the cute characters, like “Legend of Mana,” where your walking through a beach or something. Its very happy and sweet.
As the music video begins to wind down, the girls pop out in color! As they’re standing around at the end, if you look closely near their feet, what looks like an eye fades into black as the music video ends. An “odd eye” you might say. Well done on the part of the editors and the director.
I usually don’t like videos where it seems as though the members of a group just stand around looking at the camera and singing, but just the way the video was made….I don’t know. It was just great.
The single is also available on iTunes!
