KNK have just dropped their repackaged album ‘GRAVITY, Completed’ and the title track from that album ‘Rain‘.
‘Rain’ is a beautiful but melancholic song, while still maintaining an upbeat R&B tempo. There is a strong acoustic rhythm throughout the entire track as well as a sad and lonely saxophone which pulls your focus back to the strong vocals of each of the band members.
The song lyrics are about reminiscing about a lost love on a rainy night and was produced by Kim Tae Ju who has worked with KNK previously.
The music video is aesthetically pleasing and full of evocative imagery which serves to support the theme of the song. Each of the members is enduring remembering their lost love in their own way until we see them together towards the end for the group choreography which is perfectly suited to the track.
