After pre-debuting as a trio and later debuting as the whole group in 2014, A.KOR will soon be back with their first comeback single, “Always.”
It looks like this comeback will be way different from their debut songs “Payday,” and “But Go,” which went for a more hip-hop-like style. In the teaser, the song sound catchy and funny, but definitely not like hip-hop.
In the video, the girls portray dolls who are kept in a dollhouse by a man wearing a fox mask. The video is completely colorful and shiny in a way that differs a lot from their original concept. Check it out:
After the member Kemy apologized for making a dis track to 2NE1‘s Bom, it seemed like the group could finally move on from the hate and start climbing the steps of fame. However, after the release of this teaser, they are being criticized for something else: by looking too much like Ladies Code.
The video and the song have nothing to do with Ladies Code, but the girls do look a lot like its members. You can basically name all the five girls from Ladies Code by pointing at them.
After such a tragedy happened to Ladies Code in 2014, would it be a smart decision from the company to make A.KOR so similar to them in their comeback?
Well, we hope they can succeed despite the criticism, because the song and the MV do seem interesting and cool based on the teaser.
Stay tuned for more news.
