After successfully hosting ‘KPOP ALL NIGHT’ in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and even Chicago just this past January, Hallyu Entertainment is returning to their home court, Dallas, to bring to you all yet another great party! Returning to SISU Uptown once again, they’re bringing Hi-Lite Records’ very own Paloalto, Okasian, G2, and DJ Djanga!
Paloalto, the founder of Hi-Lite Records, has long proven his skills as a rapper and producer. His unique Jazz-inspired style and unparalleled talents has rooted him as one of the most influential figures in the Korean Hip Hop scene since his underground debut in the early 2000’s.
Okasian, pronounced Ok-asian, released his first album in 2012. He caught public attention after his collaboration with Keith Ape on the song “It G Ma,” which has 18.9 million views. The 28-year old U.S. born rapper grew up in South Korea, lived in the U.S. for part of his high school and college years, and returned to South Korea to pursuit his music career.
G2 just released a new song last month, named ‘식구 (Shikgoo)’ featuring the entire Hi-Lite Records family—B-Free, DJ Djanga, Huckleberry P, Paloalto, Okasian, Reddy, and Sway D. The song blends each of their styles smoothly while still displaying each of their unique flavors. Check out the MV below:
