Life is just one grand stage when it comes to love and some parts just aren’t always properly casted, that’s what Kyuhyun showcased in his new music video, 광화문에서 (At Gwanghwamun).
광화문에서 (At Gwanghwamun) has a message that shows their is a lot more to waiting for someone you love then the lyrics allow you to believe. In the music video you see Kyuhyun “center stage” and surrounded by set equipment such as lighting and cameras. This concept tends to follow him through normal aspects of everyday life and settings. The song is about waiting for someone even though you know they will never return so you place yourself mentally on the “spot.”
The music video is well made especially with the constant change of settings and the presence of stage props. I enjoyed seeing Kyuhyun stretch himself out as an artist but also how the video complimented the song rather well. The music video is artsy in the sense, one thing that caught my eye is the fact that the cameras followed Kyuhyun as he wrote on the bathroom floor “11/3/13” and the camera not only did a close up but lingered on that small detail.
Kyuhyun’s debut album ‘The 1st Mini Album ‘광화문에서 At Gwanghwamun’ is now available on iTunes.
