La Materialista Plagiarized 2NE1’s ‘I Am The Best’?

The songs are way too similar to call it a coincidence. Looks like Dominican Republic singer Yameiry Infante Honoret (aka La Materialista) plagiarized 2NE1‘s hit song ‘I Am The Best.‘

Her song, titled ‘Chipi ChaCha‘ was released on July 24th and the singer started to promote this single through her official Twitter. However, in her tweets, she did not mention 2NE1‘s name at all, which has led Blackjacks to believe that she’s trying to claim the song as her own.

Additionally, in a live interview, she explained that ‘Chipi’ means cheap, while ‘ChaCha’ is an abbreviation of ‘muchacha’ which stands for young girl. Still not mentioning either 2NE1, Teddy nor YG Entertainment.
