On November 3rd, 7 year girl group LABOUM dropped the music video to their new title track, ‘Kiss Kiss’. Coming off their 3rd mini album, ‘Blossom’, this marks their return in a lengthy 2 years and 2 months (September, 2019 when they released their 1st full album, ‘Two of Us’ with the title track, ‘Firework’). This also is their first EP release since 2017’s ‘Miss This Kiss’ with the infectious lead single, ‘Hwi Hwi’.
This track continues their trend of slower jams as titles. Their vocals are soft yet powerful, all over a soothing instrumental. This peaks in the chorus as a shining synth takes over to shimmer itself over the glistening and elegant soundscape.
Older fans will realise this is their first return as a quartet. The contracts with their company, Global H ended in September with fellow member and leader Yujeong deciding to terminate her contract and leave the group. The remaining members decided to leave the company and are now under national auction house and shopping mall Interpark‘s subsidiary, newly created Interpark Music Plus. Known for releasing the underrated catchy singles, their most successful track, ‘Journey To Atlantis’ rose immensely in the charts earlier this year when it was featured in popular South Korean variety show, ‘Hangout With Yoo’. The group then returned to the stage to perform the track as a gift to the loving response.

Watching the music video, we see the four members looking feminine with their tasteful outfits. Their primary white choreography performing outfits give 2nd generation vibes with the innocent and bright concept the outfits would easily fall into.
