The ladies of Ladies Code will be returning to the stage, in a rare appearance since the devastating crash that took RiSe and EunB’s lives in August. The emotional memorial will be held in Tokyo, Japan. Their agency Polaris Entertainment gave a reason as to why in Japan and not Korea, and they stated warmly that it’s a way to honor not just the two that passed, but all of them;“RiSe grew up in Japan and the members always wanted to pursue activities in Japan, so we are planning a memorial concert in Japan.”
In April, we reported that the three remaining members of Ladies Code, Ashley, Sojung, and Zuny, had moved back into their dorms, after having removed themselves from the public eye since the car crash. Now they are slowly easing their way back into their schedules and practice, which is sparking comeback rumors. The moment that hit the airwaves, it was put to a stop by a representative of the group, who stated to TV Report, “There are no concrete plans for a comeback.”
It appears that they are not rushing the group to return, but easing them back in slowly which may take another year or so. The representative also stated, “The three members are splitting their time between practicing and in the rehearsal room and are doing well.”
We at Officially KMusic wish Ladies Code all the best, and continue to keep Rise and EunB’s loved ones in our thoughts. We hope to see Ladies Code grace the stage more in the future.
