The prosecution in the case against Ladies’ Code‘s manager has made an appeal against the court’s decision for him to serve 14 months in prison, for causing the accident that led to the deaths of EunB and RiSe and the injuries of the other members.
A Polaris Entertainment representative told Newsen on the 26th, “We just heard that the prosecution is making an appeal. We have also immediately sent in a petition of appeal after hearing about the prison sentence. We′re trying to have the manager′s side and the bereaved family reach an agreement. Honestly, it′s very difficult to even bring up the subject of settlement now. Since it′s a very careful issue, we′re trying to find a solution so that neither side gets hurt. It′s very difficult.”
Ladies’ Code’s manager was prosecuted on the 15th of this month for violating the Act on Special Cases concerning the Settlement of Traffic Accidents. Polaris issued a petition saying the prison sentence was too long, while the prosecution did the same, but said the sentence was too short.
No other news concerning the appeal has made at this time. Stay tuned here at Officially KMusic for more updates.
